Okay, so I LOVE shopping. Who doesn't, really? My closest friend is one of the most stylish people I know and I recently experienced a bout of "shoe envy" when she was sporting a new pair of soft grey Jessica Simpson peep toe heels. (btw, I usually can't wear heels, but these were sooo comfy despite the style)
Where did she find these sweet shoes? Online, of course. Along with a few other fabulous, and unique finds. Shoes, tops, dresses... She is starting to look like a movie star even with a very tight clothing budget. I want in!!
With online shopping increasingly becoming the preeminent way to buy goods, new online shopping experiences are popping up. One of these experiences called, Beyond The Rack is an exclusive online shopping club based in Montreal, where luxury items are put up for sale every day at discounted prices.
Okay, so here it is. Check out Beyond the Rack for some really nice stuff at unbeatable prices. Click here for a link to their site. Let me know what YOU find!

$10 Printable Coupon for The Body Shop
Personally, I love the Coconut Body Butter, Coconut Lip Butter, and Satsuma Body Butter. It's not too early to think about Christmas gifts, is it?
Rewards websites: Swagbucks
So I came across this site earlier this month and I think it's pretty cool...
Swagbucks.com is an online portal dedicated to helping you earn digital dollars called "Swag Bucks," which can be redeemed for exclusive Swagbucks.com merchandise. There's lots of fun stuff to do on the site to earn Swagbucks like polls, games, and surveys. You can also get points just from searching the web. There hasn't been a day that I haven't earned at least 20 without even trying.
I already have 1845 Swag Bucks (SB) after only a few weeks. When you register a new account they will give you 30 free Swag Bucks right away!

There is a great selection of Swag Prizes to choose from. I think I'll save my Swag Bucks up for a few Starbucks gift cards (1300SB) as that is such a treat for me!
The best deal though is the Amazon.ca $5 gift card (450SB). You can get that in a week for sure!!

Coupons: Top Canadian Coupon Sites
So I thought I would do a little research and compile a list of go-to sites for Canadian coupons. I am not an extreme couponer by any means, but I sure am starting to realize the value of money while watching prices rise – and my grocery bill – each week.
I also tend to have luck finding coupons by visiting a company’s websites directly, by signing up for their e-newsletters, “liking” them on Facebook, or “following” them on Twitter. Check out Kellogg’s, Kashi, L’Oreal, Covergirl, Catelli, McCain, Michal’s Craft Store, So Good, TRESemme, ColdFX, Ziploc, Advil, or any other product or business on your shopping list. I also give companies my e-mail address so they can send special offers I otherwise would not have known about. Please Mum, Children’s Place, RW&CO and Old Navy for example send exclusive coupons and invitations to special shopping events.
I hope this post can help some of you get started on your way to saving more money by using coupons this year. I invite any seasoned couponers out there to share any other websites they can think of to add to this list. After all, the goal is to help one another save.

My first post!
Hi there fellow Savvy Shoppers!
My name is Julie, and I’m a working mother of two. Let's face it... times are tough and becoming smart with money is essential to getting by. You don't have to be dirt poor to be a savvy shopper; everyone can gain by making the most of their pay check by finding deals where you can and by getting things for free with minimal effort.Gone are the days of sewing circles where women would get together and share tips and advice with one another. With the advent of social media, communities can be formed online with your next door neighbor and someone in another continent.
My hopes in creating this blog is to create a "community" by bringing a few like-minded people together, share what I’ve found, and hear stories about what has worked for others.
Please feel free to leave your comments and suggestions! If you like what you see, you can sign up to receive emails of my new posts. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!
